District Region #12 qualifies for Connecticut Light & Power Company
(CL&P) Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund (CEEF) award of 50% for SyAM Software - based on
anticipated energy savings through SyAM Software Power Management for
IT Assets. More districts to follow...

School District 12 – Lower
Litchfield County (including the towns of Roxbury, Washington and
Bridgewater). The district's IT Network Manager, Joe Martino, supports
approximately 8 servers and 252 workstations located at the regional
high school, middle school and 2 elementary schools. All systems are
networked together, so all of the pc's can be accessed from a central
location.
IFS worked with School District 12
and CL&P to complete the necessary paperwork regarding the projected
energy savings for the school district. Within a few days, IFS
received word from CL&P that they will be funding 50% of the purchase of
SyAM Software for Power Management for IT Assets for Connecticut School
District 12.
