OdinDoc-SQL Advanced Electronic Filing System enables organizations to streamline their paper filing and retrieval processes, incorporate, index and file non-scanned content of any type to improve efficiency, increase productivity and safeguard critical corporate and customer files.

Document Imaging and advanced filing solutions that are easy, secure and affordable is what OdinDoc-SQL is all about. Use OdinDoc-SQL to define and store a virtually unlimited number of document types, each with its own unique set of database indexing and key fields for easy retrieval. OdinDoc provides up to ten user definable indexing fields per document type, and three other global fields (across all document types) for indexing purposes. In addition, Common Index Fields, predefined and applied to all document types, allow for Global retrieval (across all file folders or document types - virtually searches the entire database) for all documents with Common Index field matches.

With OdinDoc-SQL's enhanced security features, items can be stored directly in the Microsoft SQL Server database thus providing increased security and protection of customer and corporate documents. OdinDoc-SQL also allows the traditional storage of scanned pages as external tiff image files as well for those applications or organizations that may not require advanced security.

OdinDoc-SQL Content Management can store virtually any content, including Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), PDF files, sound and video files,

imported picture files of any type, virtually any media type to achieve true generic content management that goes way beyond the basics of scanned source document imaging and filing.

Based on Microsoft's powerful SQL Server 2005+ database engine, users can scale from a single station solution to workgroup and even enterprise level solutions with OdinDoc-SQL by virtue of implementing various levels of Microsoft's SQL Server database engine. These range from SQL-Server Express - an easy-to-use, lightweight, and embeddable version of SQL Server 2005. Free to download, redistribute, and embed, Workgroup Edition - designed for small organizations that need a database with no limits on size or number of users, SQL Server Standard Edition, a data management and analysis platform for small and medium-sized organizations, and ultimately SQL Server Enterprise Edition, meeting the high demands of enterprise online transaction processing and data warehousing applications.

Retrieval is quick and easy using OdinDoc-SQL's database query. Retrieve documents based on one or more of the user definable key fields, common indexing fields and system fields.

Robust security by document type and user access audit tracking are also part of OdinDoc's architecture, providing for a detailed audit trail and tracking information on document access within the organization. First and foremost, OdinDoc-SQL's advanced auditing and activity tracking capabilities enable a company to track virtually any user actions with regard to corporate and customer records and documents. The events and activities tracked along with specific details of who, what when and where including details on ip address, machine name, user ID, network ID, document type and name (to name a few) are;

Functional Features:

Define Documents - There is virtually no limit on the number of document types supported. Setup new documents for scanning and filing in seconds -- Loans, Mortgages, IRA Accounts, SBLI, Other file folder applications.
Scan Documents - Prompts user for indexing information, scans, cleans and deskews images and then files them along with database indices.
Automatic Image Quality Improvement - Deskews & cleans images for best quality before filing.
Indexed Retrieval - Up to 15 index fields per document type, including system, user and common indexing fields.
View (Magnifiers, rotate, inverse image, best fit, etc.)
Annotations - Text notes, stamps, highlighters, etc. Saved as part of document image when images are stored as external tiff files.
Print – With or without Annotations.
Export to PDF - Single and multiple pages of a document.
Audit Logs – Captures all user/document activity for viewing and reporting.
Security – User ID and Password – Access rights required for specific Document Types. Administrator, DB Admin and Vie2w Only User classes.
Page Scanner Support - Support for any scanner using TWAIN interface.
