IFS Branch Image Capture (BIC) solutions offer high-quality item capture features with optional centralized or branch based proofing and balancing, amount encoding (CAR/LAR) and Electronic Cash letter (ECL) generation. For OdinCheck-21 users, these advanced Check-21 capabilities are provided through integration with C&A Associates ImageChex and ProofPC Branch Item Capture and POD system for a centralized balancing and proofing operation.

With a complete C&A Associates ImageChex solution, branches may optionally perform their own proof and balancing tasks before sending ECL's directly for settlement processing or forwarding ECL's to an in-house ProofPC system for ECL consolidation and forwarding. Choices are available to enable proofing and balancing tasks to be performed from a centralized location to alleviate additional burden on branch staff if that is preferable. There are also options to perform the basic capture of items at the branches with no proofing and balancing to be forwarded downstream for proofing and balancing by a service provider.

Electronic Cash Letters can be created and sent to virtually any end point for settlement processing.

The TellerScan 230 (TS230), based on Digital Check Corporation (DCC)’s successful and highly reliable TS220E platform, embodies the most advanced design for distributed check

The TS230 is available in two models, both with DCC’s unique continuous feed feature, which allows checks to be added while scanning – for higher throughput and more volume than traditional scanners. The TellerScan TS 400ES is a fast check scanner designed for back-office applications. Standard features include duplex (two-sided) scanning, MICR reading, rear inkjet for printing customized information, manual feeder with capacity of 80/100 documents and a two-pocket sorter. The TS 400ES comes with an enhanced output sorter with two large pockets with capacity of 100 documents each. The TellerScan TS350 is a duplex (two-sided) check scanner designed for front-office and back-office check imaging applications. The 350 is designed to satisfy the need for a low cost, medium volume batch oriented Check scanner. Standard features include: two-sided scanning, MICR reading, rear inkjet for printing dates or customized endorsement information, automatic motorized feeder with capacity of 80/100 documents and a two-pocket output sorter. The motorized feeder automatically opens to accept a new batch of checks and then closes when scanning begins - ideal for one-handed operation. The CR-180 is a compact Check Transport device that scans both sides of checks and has ability to read the MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) characters on checks using its built-in magnetic head.
