09/01/2011 - Apple Bank of Savings, New York (NY) - chooses Odin-SQL Advanced COLD/ERM to replace its legacy COLD system. IFS provided ready access to its software and technical support personnel on a test basis to enable Apple bank to experience for itself that Odin-SQL COLD/ERM would provide good performance over low-speed and high-speed network connections, while being able to provide the report indexing, cataloging, access security privileges and controls, with a high-quality, robust, easy-to-use interface and security audit trails that the bank required. It is with great pleasure that IFS welcomes Apple Bank for Savings to its long notable list of satisfied Odin document technology clients!

About: Apple Bank for Savings, with 51 offices, assets of $6.76 billion, is the third largest savings bank in New York State. During the year 2010, it remained one of the strongest depository institutions in the nation. Learn more about Apple Bank for Savings at www.applebank.com .

08/05/2011 - Middlesex Savings Bank, Natick (MA) - upgrading to Odin-SQL Advanced COLD/ERM system. A long-term Odin COLD technology user since 1989, Middlesex Savings Bank has successfully leveraged Odin's core cold document filing and research capabilities extensively.  Upgrading to Odin-SQL will enable the bank to continue to benefit from the legacy archive Odin system data stores dating all the way back to the original files of 1989 if need be, without undergoing any data transformations, conversions or migrations. And, Odin-SQL's superior document security and access controls with extensive document and user audit trails further Odin's "data stewardship" role of protecting customer and corporate information.  As part of the system upgrade, Middlesex Savings Bank has also agreed to a multi-year renewal of the Odin license and software maintenance.

About: Middlesex Savings Bank, an institution of 175 years, has 31 branches and 5 business-lending centers in Massachusetts. With assets of nearly $4 billion, it is one of the largest and strongest banks in Massachusetts and recently ranked the 6th largest mutual bank in the nation. 06/01/2008 - Chelsea Groton Bank begins rollout for integrated OdinCheck21 and a centralized C&A Software's ProofPC32 Proof and Balancing ECL generation system.  The system processes all of the branch work, filing non-check items to archival storage while automatically routing check batches to the ProofPC32 system where batches are presented for CAR/LAR, Reject Repair, Balancing, and ultimately outgoing Electronic Cash Letter files (x9.37).  The system also creates separate files for items already posted by the online teller, to be forwarded for image statement rendering purposes.  The advantage of centralized proofing and balancing is to offload these tasks from the branches while developing a strong core expertise for processing and handling the check volume through the bank by a few people rather than using 100's of individual tellers.
June 2008 - Oliver Wolcott Library, Wallingford Public Schools and Wolcott Public Schools select SyAM Software for energy management for networked pc's, while also seeking to leverage the numerous system health monitoring and alerting features as well as asset reporting, patch deployment, and other features bundled with the core SyAM software product.

ProofPC32 Remote Branch allows branch personnel to process transactions with smaller, low-cost capture devices and fully functional software with the same processing logic and power of the operations center.  The remote module incorporates all of the features and functionality of ProofPC32, but in small-scale environment. Transactions can be captured and balanced at the remote location, or simply captured and transmitted to the operations center for reject repair and balancing.  Branch personnel submit transactions and images electronically throughout the day when remote operations are complete.

ProofPC32 Remote Customer allows company personnel to process checks at each location with smaller, low-cost capture devices and software that validates each transaction to ensure the integrity of the check information to be forwarded to the bank.  Checks are captured and balanced at the remote location, and electronically transmitted to the company’s bank for deposit.  Using this new technology, companies can eliminate bank accounts in towns and cities near every location, cash concentration debits (CCD), depository transfer checks (DTC), and accounting overhead associated with bank reconciliations, deposit notifications, and adjustments while at the same time gaining improved funds availability.  Depositing checks electronically will also reduce the high per item deposited fees charged by most banks, and by concentrating all deposits in a single bank, companies can improve their bargaining power in negotiating interest rates and fees.
